Click here to visit our Facebook page to watch the Atoms put their creativity to the test when they were tasked with creating a TikTok video for their end of the year statistics project.
For their video project assignment, students had to showcase their understanding of statistical terms and theories through a 1 - 3 minute TikTok video. Atoms had an opportunity to watch their fellow classmate's videos and voted for their favorite video.

Thursday, May 27th, 2021—As Utica Academy of Science middle school Atoms geared up for their long Memorial Day weekend, the teachers, faculty, staff and students dressed to un-impress by committing fashion faux pas with mismatched prints and tacky style choices for their 'Themed Thursday,' Wacky Tacky Day!
With 5-weeks left of school, the 6th grade students introduced an 'End of Year' challenge to earn in-person dress up days or Themed Thursdays, by earning points. To achieve these points, the Proton, Neutron and Electron Houses must work together each week to earn 100 total house points. Points can be earned by doing the following activities.
This past week, the Houses pulled together to earn them a 'Wacky Tacky Day!' Way to go, Atoms, we are so proud of you! Keep up the great work. We look forward to seeing more pictures for Themed Thursdays!
