There’s Snow Place like School on a ‘Snow Day!’

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021—The week of Winter Recess, Utica Academy of Science elementary school spread a little ‘holiday cheer’ by creating an in-school snow day on the half-day of school. Throughout the day the students participated in a variety of creative, hands-on activities, games and activities that were holiday and winter themed. From decorating cookies, to trying their luck at constructing gingerbread houses made out of graham crackers, to playing reindeer games (quite literally), to even letting their sillies out by playing in the school gymnasium. It is safe to say that this in-school snow day will most certainly be going down in history, much like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

We hope all of our students are enjoying their Winter Recess, and we look forward to seeing them next week.
