Tickets Please, All aboard the Polar Express
Tuesday, December 21st, 2021—As we get ready to welcome back the Atoms tomorrow, we wanted to share one last bit of holiday cheer and celebrations just before Winter Recess!
The week of Winter Recess, Utica Academy of Science elementary school students had an opportunity to wear pajamas to school, as it was going to be 'Polar Express Day!' Much like the book and the movie, the characters all wore their pajamas as they climbed aboard a train that brought them to the North Pole.
For this festive day, each student received a special round trip ticket for the Polar Express, and of course hot chocolate and cookies. During the day, the Atoms received a surprise visitor from the North Pole, who even took some pictures with the students.
This mini celebration was a great way to get everyone pumped and excited for their upcoming Winter Recess.
