UAS First Graders Explore the Skies

Friday, September 12, 2025: Utica Academy of Science First Grade Atoms stepped outside to enjoy the epic skies on a beautiful day and turned their curiosity into hands-on STEM learning!

Students observed clouds, colors, and atmospheric patterns, sparking questions and excitement about weather and the world above us. Activities like this help young learners connect science concepts to the real world, showing them that STEM is all around us.

With each observation, the students build the foundation of scientific inquiry, asking questions, making predictions, and exploring answers. This experience motivates them to become "sky scientists" and inspires a lifelong love of discovery.
