UAS JSHS Atoms Fly to New Heights

Utica Academy of Science Participates in CNY Drone Soccer at SUNY Poly

Saturday, November 22nd, 2025: Utica Academy of Science scholars participated in the CNY Drone Soccer Qualification Round for the first time! Hosted at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, this exciting STEM event allowed students to explore teamwork, engineering, and drone-based competition.

During the event, scholars learned to communicate under pressure, control drones in a fast-paced environment, and work together as a cohesive team. They gained valuable hands-on experience, technical skills, and confidence, preparing them for future competitions.

We are proud of their hard work, curiosity, and willingness to try something new. Great job, Atoms!
