Friday, May 15th, 2026: Six outstanding scholars from Utica Academy of Science Junior-Senior High School reached an incredible milestone by earning their college degrees from Mohawk Valley Community College before even walking across the stage for their high school graduation! 

As a college preparatory school, UAS High School encourages students to challenge themselves through advanced coursework and college-level opportunities. Through partnerships and dual enrollment programs, scholars are empowered to earn college credits and degrees early, building a strong foundation for future success in college, careers, and beyond.

Balancing high school responsibilities while completing college coursework is no easy task, yet these six scholars rose to the challenge with perseverance and dedication. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to fellow students and highlights the opportunities available through UAS’s commitment to preparing scholars for life after graduation.
