This event will provide essential guidance on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, a vital step in securing financial support for higher education.

Completing the FAFSA is critical for students planning to pursue higher education. Whether you're tackling the application for the first time or have questions about specific sections, this session is designed to:

• Offer tips and best practices for filling out the application

• Provide live assistance from knowledgeable staff

The Utica Academy of Science Charter School (UASCS) is excited to announce two new projects funded by generous grants from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. We seek bids from qualified companies, builders, and contractors to improve our school's security and accessibility.

• Project 1: Lighting Improvements
  • Project Code: HC23-2284-E00
  • Description: Enhance the lighting in the front and back parking lots.
  • Maximum Award: $35,000
    
    
• Project 2: Access Control Enhancements
  • Project Code: HC23-2072-E00
  • Description: Improve access control by installing metal detectors and X-ray baggage scanners at the school entrance.
  • Maximum Award: $48,500
