Kindergarten ENL Students Learn Through Play

Friday, December 19th, 2025: Utica Academy of Science ENL kindergarten students had a wonderful time learning with Ms. Salem during an interactive classroom activity called “Guess What I Am!”

During the lesson, students used their sense of touch to explore surprise objects and practiced asking questions to identify each item. Classmates supported one another by using simple sentences, offering clues, and sharing lots of smiles along the way.

This engaging activity fostered language development, teamwork, and confidence, demonstrating how learning English through play can be both meaningful and enjoyable. We are so proud of our little learners and the progress they continue to make each day!
