Super Pumpkin!
It was a beautiful fall day when second graders visited Savicki's Farm Market in Clinton, NY. #UASAtoms enjoyed a hayride, a corn maze, and even picked pumpkins. Happy Fall!
Thursday, October 5th, 2023: Utica Academy of Science 8th-grade students traveled back in time when they visited the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown. Students experienced life during the 1800s. Atoms worked on the homestead and became blacksmiths, master printers, 19th-century pharmacists, and more!

Judge Rasheed is a leader in Syracuse PD, Community Foundation, and Juniors Frontiers and is passionate and dedicated to promoting student leadership. This leadership is based on the premise that everyone should reach their potential and grow with hard work, good character, and a passion to help the community. Judge Rasheed used this chance to promote local programs that Juniors Frontiers is working on while promoting college readiness and leadership.
Thank you for the motivational speech, Jude Rasheed!
Friday, September 22nd, 2023: Utica Academy of Science Junior-Senior High School hosted the annual Back to School Night. This year, the event was taken to another level by not being a simple “Back2School BBQ,” but it was instead a community meeting. More than 20 community organizations (including Utica Fire Department, Neighborhood Center, Mohawk Valley Community College, etc.) were invited to present their services. Our community was able to see how these organizations can help our families, students, and staff.
This highly successful night brought in around 400 visitors. Old and new families enjoyed the traditional BBQ food and ambiance. We appreciate our staff organizing this event and helping make some epic memories.
