We had a great time at the Poetry Slam
How about you?
The Utica Academy of Science JSHS Poetry Slam showcased our students' immense creativity and artistic prowess. They fearlessly took the stage, using their voices to shed light on diverse perspectives and share their personal experiences. The energy was electric as each performer poured their heart and soul into their poetry, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who attended.
We want to extend heartfelt congratulations to all the participants who graced the stage with their poetic prowess. Your words touched our souls and reminded us of the power of self-expression. Thank you to everyone who came out to support these incredible young poets, and special thanks to Ms. DeBuono, Ms. Calabria, Mr. McElroy, Mr. Bullis, and all our other dedicated teachers who helped organize this unforgettable event.
Our goal is to continue to celebrate and nurture the literary talents of our students, fostering a community where creativity can thrive.
Thursday, June 1st, 2023: It’s been an incredibly successful year for our Atoms Soccer Club! Scholars from kindergarten to 6th grade have worked with the high school soccer coaching staff to hone their soccer skills and learn essential team-building techniques during training sessions. Every Sunday, our young athletes put their skills to the test by playing in games on the turf fields at Accelerated Sports. Our families come out to watch and cheer on their favorite players while building a strong SANY community.
Let’s go, Atoms!
